Rider Terms of Use

This Rider Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the Platform operator (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the individual registered as a delivery rider (“Rider”, “you”, or “your”). By registering, accessing, or performing delivery services through the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. DEFINITIONS
   “Platform” means the digital system, applications, and services operated for order management and delivery coordination.
   “Delivery Services” means the pickup, transport, and delivery of goods arranged through the Platform.
   “Merchant” means a business supplying goods through the Platform.
   “Customer” means the end recipient of goods.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
   2.1 Rider must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally permitted to work in Malaysia.
   2.2 Rider agrees to provide accurate and complete registration information.
   2.3 Rider must maintain a valid Malaysian driving license appropriate for the vehicle used.
   2.4 Rider is responsible for maintaining active communication capability and required equipment.

3. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS
   3.1 Rider acts solely as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms establishes an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
   3.2 Rider retains discretion over availability and acceptance of delivery requests, subject to Platform operational rules.

4. DELIVERY OBLIGATIONS
   4.1 Rider agrees to perform Delivery Services with reasonable care, diligence, and professionalism.
   4.2 Rider must verify orders upon pickup and deliver without tampering or misuse.
   4.3 Rider shall promptly report any delivery issue, delay, or incident.

5. SAFETY AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE
   5.1 Rider shall comply with all Malaysian traffic laws, safety regulations, and applicable legal requirements.
   5.2 Rider is responsible for maintaining a roadworthy vehicle, valid insurance, and protective equipment.
   5.3 Rider assumes full responsibility for personal safety while performing deliveries.

6. PAYMENT AND FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
   6.1 Rider shall be compensated according to the Platform’s published fee structure.
   6.2 Rider agrees to accurately record and remit any cash collected.
   6.3 Platform may deduct outstanding balances, losses, or improperly retained funds.
   6.4 Payment schedules may be adjusted with notice.

7. CONDUCT AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
   7.1 Rider shall treat customers, merchants, and Platform personnel respectfully.
   7.2 Fraud, harassment, theft, or misconduct is strictly prohibited.
   7.3 Rider shall not delegate delivery tasks without written Platform approval.

8. EQUIPMENT AND COSTS
   8.1 Rider is responsible for all personal operating expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and communications.
   8.2 Platform-issued equipment remains Platform property and must be used properly.

9. DATA PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
   9.1 Rider shall protect all personal and operational information accessed through the Platform.
   9.2 Information may only be used for legitimate delivery purposes.
   9.3 Unauthorized disclosure is strictly prohibited.

10. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
    10.1 Rider assumes all risks arising from performing Delivery Services.
    10.2 Rider agrees to indemnify the Platform against claims arising from Rider negligence, misconduct, or legal violations.
    10.3 Platform shall not be liable for Rider personal injury, vehicle damage, or third-party losses except where required by law.

11. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
    11.1 Platform may suspend or terminate Rider access for breach of these Terms, misconduct, safety violations, or fraud.
    11.2 Rider may terminate participation by written notice, subject to settlement of outstanding obligations.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
    12.1 Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through Platform support channels.
    12.2 Any unresolved dispute shall be governed by Malaysian law.

13. GOVERNING LAW
    These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to Malaysian jurisdiction.

14. AMENDMENTS
    Platform reserves the right to amend these Terms with reasonable notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
    These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Rider and Platform regarding Delivery Services.

By registering and performing deliveries, Rider acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
